Frida Larios has an MA in Communication Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. She is an Associate Lecturer at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London and is Ideas Frescas Principal.
She won the Sign Design Award given by the Sign Design Society in the UK in 2005 for her student MA project ‘New Maya Hieroglyphs Archaeological Site’. Her design work is often published worldwide.
Frida has exhibited at the Business Design Centre, Central Saint Martins’ Lethaby Gallery, The Mall Galleries and the Embassy of El Salvador in London, among others.
She has also been an award-winning athlete – representing El Salvador at international events in beach volleyball. She was Central America’s number one for several years winning a gold medal in the 2001 Central American Games.
She is a member of the ISTD (International Society of Typographic Desgners) since 1999, and the Sign Design Society.
