logo

Hi all

I'm a newbie so I hope this doesn't seem impolite for a first post. I am trying to recreate the John Craven's Newsround logo from the 1970s era and I'm struggling with the typeface used.

Please see the attachment. I know that the words "John Craven's" are pretty much a version of Flash Bold but I am really foxed by the large rounded sans serif used for the main font: "NEWSROUND".

Does anyone happen to know what font this might be?

I thought it could be a Garamond variant. The M is quite distinctive.

Cheers
Luke

Need some help finding out what this type is. I've looked around, but with no real luck. Help!

Hello all,

I have a Web/Graphic Design startup I am working on and I have 3 logos I have come down to choosing. The name of the company is NE Elements, which is a play on the word any, so its really "Any Elements." The point being we use the elements of man to design things. Please look at the 3 logos posted in black and white and pick the one you like. I haven't designed any with color yet, and will move on with that once I choose a logo. Thanks all for your help. Feedback is very welcome.

I recently designed a logo for the choir sing in. It's a Baroque choir, performing Baroque and classical pieces. A little background: The mark is based on a characteristic of Baroque music being a repetition of melodic themes. I used this idea of repetition by mirroring 2 shapes to form an /A/ and /M/ for Arte Musica (did I mention it's a mostly Italian choir). The four repeated dots represent the 4 voices soprano, alto, tenor, base. I wanted the over all form language to evoke musical notation. I think it might need some tweaks but I thought I'd put it out there. Any constructive feedback is welcomed.

Hi there, this is my first post here! I have a client for whom I need to do a one page advert, and I'm trying to make the header the same font as the one they've used on their website here - http://clovelly.co.za/ - I'm talking about the bold sans serif font that says "Clovelly Country Club" in yellow and white next to the logo. If anyone could identify this for me it would be great!

I'm recreating this logo for vector format. Please help me identify this font. The closest I've came up with is Adobe Caslon Pro - semibold. It's still not it. Any feedback would help. Thanks!

Can anyone identify the font used in 'the cookbook store' logo? Online services suggest ITC Avant Garde Gothic Demi and Swiss 721 but they're not quite right. It's most noticeable in the characters 'c', 'k' and 's' for Avant Garde.

The store's website: http://www.cook-book.com

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

MJOLK logotype

Hello all.

Thought this logo might have been based on Garamond or Hoefler Text... With the initial cap, swash but perhaps it was drawn. Welcome your thoughts.

Thanks,
Jason

Hi all!
Here is a pic of the Tabio logotypeTabio logo.
Tabio is a japanese producer of socks.
Considering the typography, more as a group of glyphs than as a business-related symbol, what do you think about this combination of styles between "T" and "abio"?

I do not know the company or anything about the sports team. Any help would be appreciated.

Greetings!

I apologize in advance if this post is in any way inappropriate.

A professional organization to which I belong -- the American Philosophical Association -- is looking for a new logo (and associated branding items). There is an announcement on their website, and they asked members to pass it on to any "good designers" we might know. There are plenty of good designers here, and I thought at least a few of them might be interested.

The announcement and the request for the proposals can be found here.

Thanks!

Can anyone point me toward a font that is similar to the "ESELER" part of this wordmark?

Hello, please help me identify the font of the text of the Infusionsoft logo.
I think that the green text and gray text are in different fonts...
I tried many font id services, but nothing specific came up. Here is the image:

Thank you in advance!

Oops, sorry for the repeat - I posted this under the wrong thread first time.

Hello eyeryone!
This time my client is an industrial designer who has come up with a cross between a portaledge (in case you have no idea what that is, check this out: ) and a treehouse. A portable treehouse.

The chosen name for this miracle of workmanship is "Cambai", which is an alternate spelling of "Kambai" a tree-living tribe from Indonesia that build their dwellings at a height of vertigo-inducing 30 - 40 feet of the ground and, you probably guessed it, the sound of "come by".

Hello,

I see this font all the time in logos that all the kids are making these days.
Can anyone help me identify it? I've tried Whatthefont and Identifont to no avail.

Thanks!

LOGO MR

Hi everyone,
I'm doing an exercice in which I have to create a fusion between the letters M and R (from Mafalda Remoaldo). I've been doing some research but I found almost anything with those letters, do you have any images (Logos, typography, etc) that can serve as an example? I'll send this example, that I've made, so that it helps you selecting what you can send me

Thanks for the help
