In the processing of rehabing this sign that marks the infamous WRECK bar in Lake Elsinore, CA. The sign has been here since the early 1960's and pretty much matches the decor of the bar (which has also been the same since the 1960's.... I think there are customers who have been in here since the 1960's!..). Would like to see if matching font could be found to use in further fundraising media to go towards work being attempted in creating a mural on the facade and sides of the building depicting scenes of the historic Elsinore Grand Prix Motocycle Race (see the film "On Any Sunday") Thanks for any help or clues!

I would like to know what specific typefaces were used on cigarette advertising posters back in the 1950's and 1960's.
I'm aware of particular styles from those decades but cannot pinpoint too many exact typefaces used.

Title says it all. This is from a device made in 1965 in the UK. It was labled using dry transfer lettering.
Any ideas?

Hello Experts--

Can anyone help me ID the font in this album cover.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

I'm doing some work for the Qantas Museum, and I'm trying to find a uniquely Australian font from the 1960's / 1970's. It's quite hard, there isn't much documentation of Australian typefaces online. If anyone could help I would be so grateful!
