So I just read in Bringhurst's Elements that the hedera is one of the oldest typographic ornaments, "present in early Greek inscriptions" (p. 311).
By any chance, can anyone point me to a photo of the hedera in one of these ancient Greek inscriptions? I would love to see it's use in the wild.
I'm certain the fleurons in this image exist in a typeface. I don't have it, and will need to buy it, but first I need to know what it is... anyone? I appreciate any help you can give. The "Happy Trails" typeface is already known, it's just the fleuron ornaments I need. Oh, and if the horseshoes exist in a typeface, too, I'd love to know that as well.
