Hello guys, here I'm asking for your help to make my font project
Tweegi a reality. Tweegi is a super condensed fonts with two
variables regular and italic, it has a 600+ character set, with regular
and discretionary ligatures, alternate characters, complete set of
numbers, small caps and it covers 105 latin alphabets. The best of this
is that if I can reach the funding goal, it will be free for everyone
to use as they like.
So please check it out and help me spread the word, every help
will be appreciated.
What font is this or any very similar to it? Particularly looking for something with the subtle rounded edge.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
LOVE this poster, and have been wanting to ID the "yes" in old Open signs for awhile so I thought I'd throw this up and see if anyone can ID it. Thanks so much Typophilers!
I'm looking for a Bold Condensed / Compressed that matches "Solano" only with Hebrew Characters?
Does anyone know where to head to?
I have attached a scan of the masthead. It reminded me of Wim Crouwel's 1957 Hiroshima poster but this was done almost a decade earlier. The letterforms seem to be drawn on a grid of a 7:2 ratio, if I am correct. Minimal counters and a very graphic, clean appearance.
Thanks in advance!
A sans-serif, condensed, narrow, geometrical typeface that seems to be based on a narrow vertical rectangle used as a grid with a 7:2 ratio, perhaps.
It was used for the masthead of an architectural magazine, in 1946. Reminded me of Wim Crouwel's Hiroshima poster (1957) and I wonder if that particular typeface was in turn based on other typographic/visual trends at the time. Thank you!
Looking for this compressed sans used for Jon Spencer Blues Explosion circa 1993.
House Gothic 23 or Compacta are close, but not quite it.
Hi there. Looking to ID the fonts used in both "CONQUER" and "CANVAS" in this pic.
Thanks in advance for any and all help!
I love the idiosyncratic compressed sans YCN are using, does anyone know what it is?
I can scan in a paper copy if anyone needs it a little larger, but it's quite distinct so I imagine one of you geniuses will know.
Hey, so I've had a love for typography for years, but have just started getting into designing fonts. I bought a copy of TypeTool for Christmas and I've been itching to get started. My first font idea came from a CD cover I designed for a Christmas present this year. I wanted to have the word "SMASH" in a cartoony, ultra-condensed font that would take up the whole cover, both horizontally and vertically. I couldn't find anything out there that was compressed enough for this job, so I ended up drawing my own type for it in Illustrator. When I started thinking about designing my first font, I figured if I couldn't find anything like this, maybe there will be someone else looking for a font like this to fill a design need so I thought I'd flesh it out and see how it took.
