Hi,
I am designing an e-commerce for contemporary interior design products and I have chosen [http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Expletus+Sans|Expletus Sans] ad a display face. I am now looking for a serif companion for body text. I have tried [http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Droid+Serif|Droid Serif] but I am not really sure. What do you think about this pair? Have you got some other font in mind that I could try?
Thanks in advance.

Does it have to be free?

Yes it has to be free, the type of product I will use it on requires that.

Can you elaborate? Does the client forbid you from spending money on a commercial webfont?

Hi,
nope, the design is for a wordpress theme and I need to use freely avalaible fonts.

I'm sorry I still don't understand (I'm not a web developer, so there's probably something I'm missing). Does WordPress not allow you to use something like this?

The theme we'll be sold as a product and not like a website for a single client.

Try Copse

Can't a non-free webfont subscription be part of the product?
BTW there's a difference between free and "libre".
Copse: Seems pretty dorky to me.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I ended up using Droid Sans bold as headline with Droid Serif for body with Expletus only used for identity and banners text.

Sounds like a cheap solution.
