Vollkorn font aletrantive for UTF8

Theblankstare's picture

I need webfonts that will approach google's Vollkorn as much as possible and will support UTF8 characters like "č š ž"

http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Vollkorn

Thanks

It’s an open source font, so you have three options:

  • If you know how to do it, add the accented letters yourself
  • Commission the type designer (Friedrich Althausen) to add the letters for you
  • Commission anybody who knows how to do it to add the letters for you

Hope this helps!

I believe the original Vollkorn was hand-hinted by Yanone. But just adding some accented letters shouldn’t make it necessary to re-hint the font.

If you go this route there are many people here who can do it for you, including yours truly*. You will need a -modest- budget however.
