Probably an Easy One - midcentury 1955 school signage

Thanks in advance for your help on this one. I have found similar fonts, but not the exact match yet.

From a midcentury school built in 1955.

Even if Adrian Frutiger designed it in 1988, I believe Avenir could be considered as a decent substitute.
