So, I'm guessing this is a custom typeface for Interview magazine, but on the off chance it's not, anyone have any ideas? It's pretty unique in its design.

it looks close to Monotype Modern Std (Extended)
with a customized |V| & |N| and modified to have higher contrast...

Discussed many times here. Should be BaronMTModern, custom typeface by (Fabien) Baron & Baron for Interview Magazine.
You may like De Vinne and Scotch Modern (Display).
