I'm having trouble researching the Plain Gothic typeface. I have to do a presentation and I can't really find any history about that particular font. Can anybody help me?

Never heard of it... Sounds like it could be the name of a knock-off of something. What's it look like?

Do you mean Gothic-as -Grotesque as opposed to Gothic-as-Blackletter?
