Hi all,
I am designing a multi-layered typeface. I created 4 separate files one for each layer but I have no idea how to generate the typeface. What I want to create is a typeface that overlaps my four designs making possible to choose 4 different colours for each of them.
Thanks!

Except for Photofonts (which are bitmaps) fonts can
only be foreground/background. So you have to make
each layer a separate font, and the user has to overlay
them and color them.

I've done this too for my very first font in 2004. I had to create 3 different fonts to do this:

It's precision work to get everything to snap together, though. ;-)
