Tired with Hamburg, or what?
No diagonals in those last three. Is that a bug or a feature?
Buslingthorpe is an area of Leeds, Yorkshire, once a village no doubt, that has a 13-letter name, no repeats.
Are there any longer “pangramatic” place names with no repeats? (Including diagonals!)
I figure diagonals usually aren't so crucial to the look of the face.
I’m still fond of Hans Peter Willberg’s string,
Andreas, you still have a few other scripts to include :-)
All these posts… and no-one has brought forth Welsh placenames?
Té, You are free to add them ;-)
Nahh... I'll just point ye lot to the atlas. You do have an atlas, right?
My favorite Welsh place name: Aberystwatch.
I used to ab a ryst watch, but now I just check my cell phone to tell the time.
As I thought I remembered that from my days in London, the place is Aberystwyth. My friend Mr. Google tells me Aberystwatch was a TV show satirizing life there.
