Need advice for a script similar to these . . .

sydneynewsom's picture

I've typed up this post so many times and received error messages which led me back to a blank box absent of the content I entered, so I'm keeping this brief. See image below. I am including a link to some of the type in progress for this same project (it simply won't upload or attach here) http://i56.tinypic.com/55p2x0.jpg
Thanks so much for the help!

What's the name of the font used for measures? I'm assuming the name of the scripts you used are in the top left.

That’s Hellenic Wide.

Thanks!

Oh, come on guys! Is that all ya' got?

@typeerror: i'm afraid i don't have those kind of clients . . . which is why I am now modifying the text in sign painter to suit my needs

Is the subject of a "script font" that doesn't include several hundred ligatures and alternate characters pushing all of type-savvy members away? While these fonts may take less technical skill to design and don't demand the sophisticated performance of a sans or serif workhorse, they certainly have a way of complementing their more rigid ccounterparts and bringing interest to a block of text.

My "bowl scraper" needs the perfect sript, can't you see?

typerror sometimes equals courtesyerror

No Steve, it was a suggestion, not a lack of courtesy. But you seem to lack sense of proper behavior when you begin to make disparaging remarks.

@typerror: Your response to Sydney seemed, to me, to be snotty.

Does my suggesting that you were less than courteous really "seem to lack sense of proper behavior"? Get over yourself.

If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
