Printed in letterpress. Anyone any ideas?
All I can say it’s that it is written in Italian, but it is printed in Switzerland (Italian being one of the official languages there).
riccard0, I have no doubt you're correct because I have no clue! Just wondering how you know?
Just because the text is a colophon, which says by whom the book was printed, where and when ;-)
Haha! That was much less mysterious than I thought! Thank you. I just looked up Locarno Losone.
Edit: Swiss Italian Antiqua, printed in Locarno, Ticino. However, as there aren't any notable foundries in this region of Switzerland (to my knowledge) I assumed it was Italian. Curious if anyone has any clues about it's origin or name!
Too obscure?
