This font comes from an unidentified german publication of the begining of the 20th century. Can you help me identify it?
from the Venetain/Jenson neck of the woods...
If you had more letters it might be easier, but Hess Old Stlyle seems very similar for the letters you've shown. See http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/redrooster/hess-old-style-rr/. The original typeface was designed in early 1920's.
