Engravers Gothic? but the numbers looks AvantGarde ?

I cant quite see that this is Engravers gothic from the letter particularly the G although the 9 seems like Avant Garde but descending below the base line? and the termination seem rounded not flat

wow those are fantastic and help tremendously.. thank you .. funny thing though this is from a 40's print publication.
i am still puzzled by the rounded terminations from the 40's..
