Sorry about the crappy image quality but I figured this wouldn't be too tough a nut to crack anyway (though too tough for me..). Any help appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
I think you mean low waisted, the x-height is something different
In this case, someone probably just switched the plastic letter unwittingly
thanks a bunch, and thanks for a new term.
however I'm not looking for the exact typeface here, anything similar is good enough!
Any Condensed gothic will tend to have a relatively low-waisted A (in order to keep the counter visible). It is also a feature of some art deco typefaces (but they most likely will have a pointed A). Here are some possibilities, none of which has such a low-waisted A: http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/letterwerk/carrosserie/ http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/fontbureau/bodega-sans/ http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/btn/toasted-vein-btn/ http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/paratype/din-condensed/ http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/mvbfonts/solano-gothic-mvb/ http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/parachute/pf-din-text-comp-pro/ http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/fontbureau/pennsylvania/
Thanks for the help & suggestions!
