something for fashion which is elegant and modern with high contrast. It's to be used for a logo with the H and an ampersand being the main features. Something like these: I might well use these below but wanted to see if there are any recommendations?

Maybe have a graphic designer or type designer draw one for you? Fashion is all about someone creating new stuff you know, and designwise logotypes can do things no font can.

Thanks, would be great if there was budget, as always, I like your work especially noir, looks fab. I might put something together but would ideally like a good base

Maybe Stilla?

Or Anglaise. You could also check out the italic ampersand in Caslon for something more classy.

You could use the & from Fette Fraktur http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/urw/fette-fraktur/ (using the H too would be maybe a little too daring ;-)

Or you can be the first to use an almost released one:

I'm almost tempted to suggest a Schwabacher H. Almost. Too far left-wing, some might say.

Thanks, I'm after something a little more current and modern
