Hello,
I have seen a font some time ago, but I don't have a photo and I have no idea how to find it. I remember it was used for a corporate identity of an architect. It is a font which has some kind of wavy baseline, it reminds me of water. The letters were somehow added on top of the waves. Here's an image of the wavy baseline:

I am looking for the name of this font. Does anybody know what font this could have been?
Thanks.

I asked around. The two experts I asked provided answers that made them appear like a pair of complete arses, so I won't repeat them here. I hope you get to the bottom of this soon.

The baseline is wavy? Perhaps the baseline has been modified. I know it's not an architectural firm, but the only 'wavy baseline' logo I know of is the old one for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (http://www.editorsweblog.org/logos/PWC.jpg)
Is that sort of the effect you remember?

Hahaha, Sii — This just has to be one of the best replies in a Typophile thread in 2010. Thanks for that. (Not very helpful, I guess, but hey — Laughing out loud sure should keep one going, in times like these.)

Hi, thanks for your answers. But no, it was not this kind of wavy. It really looked like the line I have sketched.
The u for example really looked like one of these arcs. It was somehow made just with one line, more like a script face.
Anybody else any ideas?

It's unclear if this was a full font or just a logo, but could be what you're thinking of:

Today I went back to the museum where I remember I saw it. Now I do have an image of the actual font. So, anybody out there who can tell me the name of the font?

My money's on not-a-font.

'Goodnight', by Ohyun Kwon, may be an alternative › http://t26.com/fonts/824-Goodnight (But Craig [eliason] may be right about the sample not being an actual existing font but custom work)

Thanks Dav, it actually is a good alternative.

Uncanny, Si, or maybe just a bit cheeky ;-)
