PS Type 1 (LWFN) won't install ?

I can't get PostScript Type 1 fonts (LWFN) to install on my Mac (10.3). I copied them to the fonts folder (not system) but they don't show in Font Book and I can't drag and drop them in Font Book either.
Any thoughts.

Type 1 fonts must have an accompanying suitcase with all the font family info. Haven't you forget it?
