I cannot for the life of me remember the original name of this face, but there's a freeware knockoff been floating around on AbstractFonts for awhile, called Watford.

Thanks NJ. I followed your link and according to the discussion there, at Abstract Fonts, Watford Regular is a clone of Optifont Zarana.

Reading further into the discussion at Abstract Fonts … Mania from Paratype appears to be a very similar commercial font that is available for purchase.

And, since Opti designed nothing themselves, one can trace Zarana back further to predigital Compugraphic.
