Hello again,

I was looking for a font that is similar to Adobe Clean because of Adobe Clean is not available to purchase. Few minutes ago I found it, downloaded and now using. (Yes, a bit illegal)

So, there is no need to find similars of Adobe Clean for me.

Note:
If anybody wants to use similar of Adobe Clean, he should try "Aller" and "Dax".

Btw, thanks @sii.

If you're using a pirated copy of Adobe Clean, please don't. A "bit illegal" is like being "a bit pregnant," right?

(Nothing wrong with Aller and Dax, though.)

If you downloaded it, can you please give me the URL ?

I'd really like this typeface for a personnal project @ school :)

MD, you can get it here.

-.-' Seriously... I need it for private usage! Please help :)

Don't confuse "want" with "need".

No one needs Adobe Clean; and Adobe clearly wants to keep it as part of their branding.

Yes, seriously. Adobe Clean is the property of Adobe Systems, for its private use. It doesn't matter if you want/need it for private use or anything else.

Note that you're in a forum populated by professional font creators and you're talking about stealing fonts. Smileys don't help.

"Private usage"

Producing something like this? http://www.net-security.org/malware_news.php?id=1331

Don't help the phisherman!

md aka moronic douche: sure you did … and miles davis was white.

you’re talking about stealing fonts
christopher: technically, it’s not theft, mind you. theft constitutes the unlawful or fraudulent removal of another’s property without the owner’s consent.

this is not the case with software “piracy,” where the proprietors still have unrestricted access to their property (read: the software or the original copies). it would rather be unauthorized use due to the lack of a valid license.

illegal yes, but a different offense.

Hello everybody. I just saw this post. And I think that Adobe Clean resembles many features of Corisande. I am not sure if directly tweaked from it (specially considering identical corpus sizes, shape sizes, the striking similarities of i.e. l, c and o, that is always difficult to assure) but no doubt it is highly related. Probably not as dramatic as Frutiger and Myriad :-)
A similar but clearly divergent option is Aller. Or, of course, Etelka, Phoenica, Accord Alt or Beau Sans

Glad to see this thread was MD-5000's only "participation" on Typophile.

Unfortunately nenasilniye seems to have gotten help in two other threads* immediately after this one. The good news is he/she seems to have split.

"A 'bit illegal' is like being 'a bit pregnant,' right?"

Is a rolling stop at an intersection with no other cars around totally illegal or just a bit illegal? I think we are overloaded with lawyers, courts, judges, and juries because a bit illegal is more like a bit overweight — purely in the eye of the beholder.

No blood, no foul. How much blood has this petty unauthorized usage drawn from Adobe? Yes it's illegal, but only in the most trivial way.

Frankly, I'm not sure why anyone would bother to swipe Clean in the first place. Sure, Arno Pro is worthy, but Clean? Seriously?

Good point.

Did you guys know that -in the US at least- running a yellow light is illegal? If you think about it, it makes sense. But only in the nastiest way. Any rule has at least one undeserving beneficiary, sometimes thousands.

Hi nenasilniye!
Adobe Clean is a great font and maybe you could try this Font
New version coming soon Here

Best regards! :^)

Asley, what's the relationship of Fineness to Adobe Clean? If you think they're similar enough to recommend the former in place of the latter, do you think that similarity was a coincidence?

BTW the two threads you've participated in are both by nenasilniye*, who's been inactive for about 2.5 years. And in one of those threads your post seems to have gone missing. No pressure (note that I'm not a moderator or anything like that) but it would be nice if you could explain.
