Good serif partner (specifically italics) for Nobel?

(I can't find a way to delete the accidental reposts--my computer got 'stuck.')
Does anyone have a good partner serif font suggestion for Nobel -- specifically, italics. Branding currently uses Granjon. Looking to subtly update some of the elements. TIA!

Font Bureau themselves suggest Whitman by Kent Lew. I haven’t used it myself, but always admired it.

Perhaps: Electra, Zócalo, Prensa, Farnham
