Trying to determine the type used on the cover (hand drawn?) and inside (serif) of an early edition of Dalton Trumbo's Johnny Got His Gun (1939). Many many thanks!
I think the text is a Baskerville, based on the 'y' and the 'g' which seems to be barely closed.
The book title resembles Antman, which may be a modern revival of an old Deco style.
