Hi, has anybody ever seen a similar typeface - or in fact the original type - that was used to write KRUG? I believe must be a French or possibly a German typeface from the mid-19th century.

This is Tuscan ornamental lettering. The closest match I could find on MyFonts is Miss Scarlett.

More specifically, the style is known as English Tuscan, most likely French, most likely 1860-1880...
