Why when I copy and paste one of my characters from Illistrator to FontLab, I only see the outlines? What do I need to do in order to see the fills?

A little red arrow will tell you that the contour is not closed. Click "FIC."
Just click the "draw filled" button rather than "draw outlines" ...
