OpenType Emoticons

Is there a font out there with an opentype feature that turns :) into a smiley glyph?
I think that would be a great addition to FF Duper 2.0! lol

FF PicLig (a bitmap font) does some things like that I think.

They're implemented as discretionary ligatures.
