Bump. Any pointers or guesses ?

I have spent an entire day yesterday on this, first on identifont, then just going type by type on myfonts and I cannot seem to find what this one is. This is starting to drive me a bit mad. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much, Akira ! I just sent them an email asking of they sell to the outside of Japan .. and if their prices were real .. lol, just kidding.

I can get reasonably close to Rodin with Akzidenz-Grotesk though...
