This might have started out with Lucida Sans Italic.

Oops, no close match offered in my link... possible that they started with lucida

Stephen mentions ITC Flora in that thread which looks close, too.
And yes, Günni, ‘proper’ is a word in German. (Found it in a dictionary.)
The proper translation of (Mr.) ‘Clean’ would be (Herr) ‘Sauber’, though.
