CAPS font: Mixing upper and lower

mikej's picture

Hi peeps! I have a simple question. I'm building an only-CAPS font and I wondering how you manage your lowercase glyphs in this situations. I want the same for "A" and "a", so how do you do this? Copy-paste? What about kerning? Is there any way to "delete" those glyphs? but I need that even the user type A or a the same letter came up.

Thanks a lot!
Mike

I just found this: http://forum.fontlab.com/typetool/all-capital-fonts-t444.0.html
But damn! I have kerned all my uppercases!

Any ideas? how to copy kerning from glyph to glyph?

Why Fontlab wont allow me to do a class like A:A'a ? Any tips on this guys? So I want to make a kerning class for each UPPERCASE containing the equal lowercase so lowercases can work with the uppercase kerning. Am I right?

Thanks!

Edit your kerning table manually in Text Wrangler.

You mean, copy/paste special then edit kerning table?
