client wants like... ball bearing and a spider... ball bearing explaining the silver ball. he says the "O" gets lost. I'm having trouble thinking of ways to incorporate a spider that dont look like... haloweeny.

Any time you need to ask, "How can I incorporate a spider into this design?" (never mind if it looks "evil" or not) then it's time to go back to the drawing board. Your concept is broken.
