some day when there's some sophisticated replacement for Captcha's I'll fondly look back at these artifacts as the internet's weird little accidental joke generator.

I like reCaptcha. The images are not necessarily easier to read, but knowing that my effort to decipher them is being put to good use is very a compelling reason for using it to fight spam.
