Steve Jobs - Get Well Soon

He may not have invented digital typography, but the world will be a worse place without a font-nut at the helm of Apple. So wishing him a speedy recovery.

Cheers, Si

He's certainly made my world a much, much better place. Best wishes here too.

On a personal note - I couldn't do what I do if it wasn't for him, I'm sure the same goes for many people here. All the best Steve.

Jobs has shown as nobody else in recent times that good design can both enhance life and be good business. A speedy and full recovery! We need you.

and don't forget Pixar.

Right Nick. Apple has shaped my professional life as a graphic designer and type designer since 1988.
Other influences such as Fontographer have fallen by the wayside, or like Quark fallen from favour. Over the years non-Mac folk have often suggested Apple's imminent demise as if it were some kind of flakey sideshow as opposed to the reality of Microsoft, but Apple's reality is just as valid. Here's my take on that. So I do think there is a durable philosophy that is as much a part of the brand he's built, as his presence. Best wishes, Mr Jobs.
