I am looking for a freelance graphic designer or production artist who is available towards the end of the week of December 15th who is proficient in both English and Arabic to consult on Arabic type usage. I am designing an Annual Report in both English and Arabic and have no typographic knowledge of Arabic. Would appreciate someone who lives in the NYC area.

I know The Netherlands isn't close, but Tarek Atrissi would probably be willing to consult with you. He's super nice and he has studied in Lebanon, NY, The Netherlands, Qatar and Dubai. Aside from being far away, he has EXACTLY the skills you're looking for. Tell him he came highly recommended from someone who saw him speak in Doha, Qatar in 2004.
