Hey experts ...
I'm gonna make a stencil type-face as a brand for a museum - and was wondering if there are any unwritten rules when you make a stencil typeface?
Must and don'ts !?!?
thx
Keep in mind the reasoning behind how real stencils work - the "breaks" in the letters exist only to keep the counters from flopping around.
also, watch the spacing between letters; when used with spraypaint you never get a flush connection with the surface (either due to time, or the medium) causing a lot of bleed...obviously if they only exist in a digital enviroment it's all good.
