(x) "Joseph L. Baird Radd K. Ehrman" very elegant sharp serif face - Folkwang {Carl}
I ran across this very elegant font and was wondering what it is called. I have looked online without any success. Can anyone help?

This looks so familiar. I went through Lindegren’s book and cannot find it. I will keep looking.

Thanks. I appreciate the help. I know what you mean...it looks really familiar, but I am getting to the point where I believe I am hallucinating (or just confusing it with other fonts - yeah, we’ll go with that!)

It is very calligraphic and I think it has a Scandinavian, and or German, feel to it but I have been off the mark many times before.
I am really interested in finding this one. I am still looking, it has a Lindegren, Forsberg or Gudrun Zapf (I know it is not her) feel to it. Check out Diotima Italic by Gudrun Zapf and you will see what I mean.

Is that the name of the face, Carl?

I was rushing: Folkwang is the face. The info I found said it was from 1949 from Klingspor, but I didn’t check that info.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Carl!!!!!!
As soon as I saw Folkwang it clicked. I had already been through my Stemple catalogues and was getting around to researching Klingspor.
Yay... I can sleep now.
