Crikey, sorry guys! I am trying to run a bloody business over here, there isn't too much time at the moment for all of these fonting shenanagins! However, Feijoa is a much more complete stage now, but I am on to the accent building and spacing. Please, stay tuned, don't send too many rumours around the Village square.
Speaking of this whole Kilbirnie Serif, I think this is what I was trying to do. A rough draft at this stage, but the idea is becoming much more solid.

Hey Kris, you are partly doing (successfully) to models like Joanna and Perpetua what I attempted to do ten years ago (not so successfully) with humanistic sans serif of the 1930s (Gill Sans, Kabel, Samplicità).
Keep on learning. If I was living in New Zealand, and in your city, I would come to work for you, and to learn with you. Bah…

kris gives us a clue here. a little birdy told me that we can expect to see feijoa soon(ish).
