Type influenced furniture, buildings or objects
Hey guys, do you know of any designer or architect including type on his buildings, furniture or object’s shape?
I’d appreciate any info you have on this very interesting subject, be it website links, be it books, be it names.
Thanks in advance
David

Ive recently seen somewhere while browsing the web, or a book (can’t remember precisely where it was) some images of type inspired furniture.
I’ve already browsed throw these threads before, but Im looking more for interior designers / interior architects work if that makes sense at all : )
Any hints?
Thanks
David

Hm, DWR also carries the Neutraface house numbers. I don’t think they’d work well on a lot of houses, but if I could ever get away with using them, I’d probably make them back-lit, as they sit off the surface a bit.
From the description, they’re hollow too, so fitting in lighting wouldn’t be so hard.

Found this article on Aiga’s website.
Its from 2006 but might be interesting for anyone else looking for info on the same subject.
