This is getting a little old by now, but I just got the last batch of photos back... and wanted to share something: Barcelona (and Spain in general) seem to have a strong penchant for Bauhaus visuals - although one could say that Barcelona has a strong penchant for any visual genre!
One indication is that Chris Burke's book about Paul Renner has received a Spanish translation already, but has yet to get a German one... Another indication is -apparently- hotel signage. We stayed in two hotels that were not chosen for their visual style, and they both were seriously Bauhaus.
