I don't flash is really an appropriate medium for making a portfolio website. When I look at possible hires I like something simple and fast. I want to get the gist and see your best work within 15 seconds of seeing your site.
Yes, it is too slow. I'm not sure if it is a flash issue. The design is very nice but it takes too long to load.
Not sure if you are asking for comments, but, for the record, I can't read any of the type on that site. It's all way to small and blurry.
