I thought of drawing something similar before but after I saw this I just want it.
The typeface might have been slightly customized for this logo.

I hope someone can ID this. It sort of reminds me of the hand-drawn titles to Dr. Strangelove.

It totally looks hand-drawn but that's why I think it isn't. If you would construct this, you would make it tidy - all letters would at least sit on the baseline and have the same height. Or am I wrong?
Anyway, all that irregularity is definitely part of it's coolness.
