Human Resources at their finest :-)
I still enjoy the hyphen-H ligature.
That’s actually kind of cool. It’s amazing what the BBC is up to lately—they’ve come a long way from using toy Daleks for crowd scenes of Doctor Who.
But perhaps not so far from Abram Games' test pattern:
Be sure to scroll down and click on the "BBC BBC" movie and wait till the end, to see the symbol in motion.

Some might see it as an HR violation?

er, don't they still do that?
Useful for hrant maybe?

Very cool. Reminds me of Laszlo Moholy-Nagy's experimental "Light-Space Modulator." (In motion here, starting at about 3:42)
That is, without doubt, the coolest test pattern ever. Much better than the crappy one here in the US. It reminds me of Microsoft’s derided Silverlight logo. If they animated that thing, it would be so awesome. Of course, the animation would need to be done in Flash so people could actually watch it…
That's not Dalek technology - looks more like something the fraking Cylons would have come up with.
Is it an optical illusion, or are the crossbars on the e in that logo at different angles?
Hmm... I'm in just the mood to do a screen capture and measure the angles, but I'm fighting the urge... I'm supposed to be making pizza after all. I think there is a difference, but is in the 'tail' because one ends normally and the other just carries on. But what about the guy on the ladder... Government worker or what!?
