lacrimosa

what's this font?

Probably custom, but might be based on something existing...

Ugly, very. :-)

My guess would be that the whole thing was made by hand.

fallen_angel's picture

ok...
but... what font this logo is based?

Since when were Vampires interested in type?

You could also mess around with Mason Sans from Emigre, which is available.

I don't think it's based on anything, frankly.

Fallen Angel, the only typeface I know of that slightly
resembles your sample is Carlos Segura's Neo Bold.
Unfortunately it looks like it's not available anymore,
as are quite a number of T-26 early output.

Dan, please be courteous to our visitors. I'm sure you
meant it as a joke, but still...

Fallen Angel -- I can't seem to find anything that would give you a good head start. Is it the blackletter feeling that you like about it? You could do a search for EVIL at myfonts.

FYI -- I was a vampire (and Lestat my true love) in my previous life (or at least during my early twenties).

Another suggestion -- Check out PsyOps -- They have some similarish* faces.

*my new word, hope it doesn't offend too many people. Hehe!

I knew there was another one similar to Neo Bold: Hindenburg

That last comment says, "What the f**k, I wanted to download the source, to kill them!"

Things are getting interesting.
