I'm redesigning a over 50's magazine and looking for ideas for fonts. At the moment I'm setting Cronos as body and using interstate as headers, however I'm not that keen on interstate. Can anyone suggest another that might work?
Yep the readership is over 50's, it's a lifestyle title targeted at the baby boomers. So the type needs to be legible (for those of poor sight) and yet with a contemporary edge. Thinking maybe meta might complement nicely?

Which part of the 50s are you wanting to echo? Any at all?

Perhaps he means the the audience is over 50 years old?
You may look at Franklin Gothic or Neutraface for heads.
