New to Typophile? Accounts are free, and easy to set up.
I have started looking at 15th Century Belgian/Flemish 'Burgandika' manuscripts in Boston area collections, the kind that Gerrit Noordzij recommends. I am of course looking for contextual alterations ligatures & so on. Has anybody on Typophile preceded me in looking at this stuff?
I am also going to be looking at some Gutenburg pages for related reasons. What ligatures should I be on the look out for?
Cheers!

Have you been to the Houghton Library at Harvard yet? That's about the best place I can think of around here.

Yes, that is where I am going. Up till today I have been at the Boston Public Library which seems to be pretty fantastic as well.

Hmm...that would have been my second suggestion. What about the Athenaeum?
