Hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me I.D this font. It is a classic vintage postcard font which i have seen used across old postcards mainly. Any suggestions much appreciated! Thankyou. Matt.

Well, it's not the same font, but it kind of reminds me of a heavily modified Serif Gothic Heavy.

These postcards were hand lettered.

"The Land of Sunshine" reminds me of Las Vegas Fabulous from House Industries.

I would say that you could find similars and with some Illustrator handywork come awfully close. Most likely, your samples were done by hand.

I did a freeware font based on this kind of lettering named Vacation Postcard; you can get it here...

The "none more black" section of our extra bold font list has a few that might work. But I agree that hand lettering is the way to go.
