Hello,
Can someone identify the typeface in the attached GIF? My closest guess is Monotype Modern Wide, but it isn't that exactly. Any other guesses?

Thanks Conor and Stephen. Century and Escrow are close. It is the lowercase g that is particularly interesting and difficult to find a match for. And this face seems to be ubiquitous in scientific paper publishing. Can anybody else help?

I'm guessing Euclid is a "bezierization" of Knuth's original "parametric" design.

Its keywords are math and science so it stands to reason that it's used in scientific papers.
Anyway, whatthefont spotted that one, I've never seen it before.
