Web 2.0 logo

reboot's picture

Hi all,

Not sure if this should be posted in the design forum or else where, let me know if so.

I am looking for font recommendations for a particular style. Its for a web 2.0 logo, ok, I know all the typical web 2.0 style fonts, but what I need is very particular, I may even have to create a custom font. Anyway, I need a bold curvy font that all its letters joined up, sorry for lack of terminology. The company is building a social networking style site, I would like the lettering to play on the idea of 'connecting people'. I am sure I have come across such a logo, any idea/recommendations would be great.

Thanks

So you are maybe basically looking for a fat, monoline script?

(There previously was a fabulous thread, or even quite a few, about these kind of typefaces, I am still looking.)

For example: 'Expletive Script', 'Fig Script', 'Lingua', 'Nafi', 'Futura Script'.

Yeah, but a little more solid if that makes sense.

Some more: 'Easyscript', 'Goodnight', 'Das Heerliche Script', 'Digital Kauno'.
Lovely, but not quite connected: 'Geetype', 'Coquette'.

Please describe "solid". Do you mean monolinear (no change in stroke width)?
