As I haven’t yet read Robert Bringhurst’s book ’The Elements of Typographic Style’, I would like to ask, which is the latest edition published as of yet?

Thanks!

The third edition (Version 3.0) came out in 2004: available in hardcover and paperback.

I doubt there’s been any significant content changes since it’s release.

Wow, I only have version 2.4; I feel so out of date.

Version 3.x has a significant amount of new material over 2.x, including a new chapter on font modification (10: Grooming the Font). This new chapter, however, is not a “how-to,” but, as with the rest of the book, comprises an overview of things to consider IF you are going to make adjustments/improvements to a font.

Anybody know what the differences are between 3.0 (on my shelf) and 3.1? I’m getting no help from Amazon nor Barnes & Noble.
