That's what Nick Curtis keeps saying, but nobody ever could come up with hard proof of that "inspiration source". I for one have trouble believing that and think it's a not so kosher copy. That's why I removed the link in your post.
I'm not really back yet - I'm using a borrowed computer.
The Intel mini-furnace in my laptop burned a hole in the
motherboard on Sunday, encouraged no doubt by the blazing
Angeleno heat that day. All my data, however, seems to have
survived, and I'm looking forward to the 17" display on my
upcoming laptop. Long live the silver lining.
BTW, I looked at Intel-based Macs, but decided to save $1000.

It reminded me of one called [edited by moderator] by Nick Curtis.
This is so similar to Eclat, that it is fairly certain they both used the same inspiration source.

Furthermore I once compared the Curtis version with our license of Eclat, and the quality is pretty poor.

See the current (?) isue of "Step: Inside Design" for a nice
interview with Doyald Young and more on the voluptuous Eclat.
